About Edit Websites Ltd

Edit Websites Ltd have developed 2 Software As A Service (SAAS) products which are used by organizations around the UK. Our first product is our Edit website builder, started in 2002 which has lots of tools to allow people to create their own website without needing any technical experience. This was initially developed for churches but is now available for schools, charities and businesses. Each of these sectors have their own branding and sales websites.

Our second product is iKnow which is a charity admin tool started in 2010 and is for managing people, communications, admin, events, donations and much more. It has been developed to be a one-stop solution for charities to administer everything under one roof. This was initially developed for churches but has recently been developed for all charities. Both these sectors have their own branding and sales website.

As a company we run on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) which governs the way we plan and run the business as well as look after our people.

We have a small team of developers and are constantly developing new tools and enhancements for all our software, ensuring they can be the best possible solution for new and future clients. Whilst the software is very easy to use, we provide support for our clients through our dedicated support sites, webinars, email help desk and for some products, phone support.

We provide a 14 day trial of each of our products so that leads can try the software following which the website subscription starts at £17.50 per month and the iKnow subscriptions starts at £20 per month.

We started a major development of our Edit website builder in May 2020 which after over 18 months of planning and development with a complete rewrite of much of our software with the resulting product being a new innovative drag and drop website builder. As part of our SAAS solution these tools are then released to all our clients.

During the last 2 years whilst there was much uncertainty and caution globally due to the Pandemic we spent the time developing our software and preparing for when the economy started to recover and bounce back. We have updated our sales sites with new branding and content. We have also updated Edit to include a new custom built signup/invoicing tool to take in two new features we are launching to our Edit clients:

  • Referral Scheme - a multi tiered referral scheme when organizations who refer others can get a monthly discount on their subscription. There is no limit to the number of referrals, and the user will also get a discount on any 2nd or 3rd level referrals (i.e. the referred clients sign up and they then refer Edit to another organisation). This referral scheme is available across the 4 different brands (i.e.: a Charity could refer a business, school or church)
  • Bounce Back Offer - we have launched a Bounce Back offer for our websites where clients get a monthly discount for the first 12 months of their subscription.

As we come out of COVID we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with a primary focus on Business Websites and then School Websites.
